This notice explains how information is handled when families visit the website, schedule services, submit questions, or request a refund.
1. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the site, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, service location, appointment details, and messages you send to Andey.
For babysitting, a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult may provide child-related information that is relevant to the service, such as names, ages, allergies, medical or safety information, and care instructions. For pet sitting or dog walking, you may provide information such as pet names, type or breed, feeding routines, medications, behavior or safety concerns, veterinarian details, access instructions, and emergency contacts.
2. Scheduling and payments
Online scheduling is provided through Acuity Scheduling. Information entered inside the embedded scheduler is processed through Acuity and the services connected to that booking workflow.
Payments are processed through Stripe. Full payment card numbers are handled by the payment provider rather than being entered into the website’s custom question or refund forms.
3. Questions and refund requests
When you submit the website’s question or refund-request forms, the information you provide is processed through Supabase so the request can be delivered to Andey. Resend is used to send transactional email notifications and acknowledgements related to those requests.
4. Technical information
Hosting, scheduling, payment, and other service providers may automatically receive technical information needed to operate and secure their services, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and information about the page or service being used.
5. How information is used
- To schedule and provide babysitting, pet sitting, dog walking, and related pet-care services.
- To communicate about appointments, questions, changes, cancellations, and refund requests.
- To process payments and maintain transaction and business records.
- To protect the website and booking process from abuse, fraud, or security issues.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, or other legitimate recordkeeping obligations.
6. Service providers
The website currently relies on third-party providers that may process information for the functions they provide, including Vercel for website hosting, Acuity Scheduling for appointments, Stripe for payments, Supabase for website form processing, and Resend for transactional email delivery. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Children’s privacy
Because the services may involve children, adults may provide child-related information that is reasonably needed to arrange or safely provide the service. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information directly through the website without an adult’s involvement, please contact Andey so the situation can be reviewed and the information can be deleted where appropriate.
8. Retention and security
Information may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, handle communications or disputes, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal or tax obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
You may contact Andey to ask about correcting or deleting information you submitted through the website. Some information may need to be retained when required for legitimate business, payment, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
10. Cookies and third-party technology
The site itself is kept simple, but embedded scheduling, payment, hosting, and other third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies needed for their functionality, security, preferences, or fraud prevention. Browser settings can be used to manage cookies, although blocking them may affect some website or scheduling features.
